Ticmate Charity

Is it possible to run a profitable business while helping to make the world a little better? We believe so. That´s why we started Ticmate Charity.

At Ticmate we are committed to more than offering travelers the best experiences around the world. Our mission is to run a healthy business that helps improve the world for our customers, employees and vendors. As of 2019, we have 27 staff members, equivalent to 18 full-time employees. In keeping with our goal of shaping a better world, it's important to us to take social responsibility. That's why we donate 10% of our profits to Doctor Without Borders (officially known as Medicins San Frontieres, or as we say in Sweden, Läkare Utan Gränser).

Since 2009, we have donated over a quarter of a million dollars to charity.

Doctors Without Borders

Doctors Without Borders (or Medicins San Frontieres) is an international humanitarian organisation that saves lives and relieves distress in the places that need the most help. They assist people affected by crises, wars, and natural disasters regardless of politics, religion, or ethnicity. At Ticmate, we support the work of Doctors Without Borders by donating 10% of our profits to them. Since 2011, we have donated nearly a quarter of a million dollars.

In 2014, our donation went to the fight against Ebola and to help the catastrophe in the Central African Republic.

In 2013, our donation supported Doctors Without Borders´ humanitarian work in Syria.

By purchasing tickets through Ticmate, you can help Doctors Without Borders in their fight to provide medical assistance to people affected by conflict, epidemics, disasters, or exclusion from healthcare.

"On behalf of MSF I would like to thank you all at Ticmate for your hard work which resulted in a generous gift to our work with Ebola and our projects the Central African Republic. We are really impressed by and thankful for your commitment to our organisation and the work we do."
